COFFEE10 is a coffee shop in the Honmachi (本町) area, about a 10-minute walk from Okaya Station. A barista brews each cup individually by hand-drip or espresso, and the shop also offers light meals like sandwiches and homemade baked treats. Next door is a used record shop, and the parking lot is shared with it. This area has a scattering of local diners and soba shops, making it a good place to fill up before the fireworks festival. The venue, the multipurpose plaza at Okaya Kohan Park (岡谷湖畔公園多目的広場), is within walking distance, so once you've eaten, head to the lakeshore and secure a viewing spot.

Tips

About a 15-minute drive from Takashima Castle (高島城). The area near the station gets crowded from the evening onward on the day of the fireworks festival, so visiting around 5 PM is recommended. The area around the venue may become a pedestrian-only zone, so getting around on foot is the safer option.
