Named from the wish "to live long and healthy, and pass away peacefully," this beloved Jizo statue is cherished in Saku City. In the temple grounds, small Jizo statues line up in rows, and visitors never cease coming to pray for their families' health. While not flashy, it is a place of faith deeply rooted in the lives of local people, offering a quiet and peaceful space to spend time.

2026年8月15日(土)開催、信州佐久の夏を代表する花火大会です。千曲川河川敷(佐久橋・野沢橋間)から約4,000発の花火が打ち上がり、広い川幅を活かした大迫力のスターマインが夜空いっぱいに広がります。周囲を山に囲まれた盆地ならではの音の響きも見どころのひとつ。1日たっぷり佐久の歴史と自然を巡った締めくくりにふさわしい、迫力満点のフィナーレです。

荒天時は中止や順延の可能性があるため、当日の開催可否は佐久市の公式発表で確認を。終了後は周辺道路と佐久平駅が大変混雑するため、時間差での移動がおすすめです。夜は冷えることがあるので羽織ものを忘れずに。

About 10 minutes by car from Sakuhira Station. Since parking spaces are limited, pay attention to surrounding roads during busy times. It's about 15 minutes by car to the next destination, Tatsuoka Castle Five-Pointed Fort.
Best time to visit
Takes approximately 1 hour. Late morning or early afternoon offers a relatively calm visiting experience.
