Held on August 15, 2026 (Saturday), this is a signature fireworks festival representing Shinshu Saku's summer. Approximately 4,000 fireworks will be launched from the Chikuma River riverbank (between Saku Bridge and Nozawa Bridge), with impressive star-mines taking advantage of the wide river width filling the night sky. The resonance of sound created by the basin surrounded by mountains is also a highlight. It's a breathtaking finale worthy of concluding a full day spent touring Saku's history and nature.

In case of bad weather, the festival may be cancelled or postponed, so confirm the day's hosting status through Saku City's official announcement. After the festival ends, surrounding roads and Sakuhira Station become heavily congested, so staggered departures are recommended. Bring a light jacket as it can get chilly at night.
