While it's bustling with surfers and swimmers in summer, in early autumn the afternoon atmosphere is calmer, allowing for a leisurely stroll along the waves. It's a perfect spot to enjoy the expansive views of Suruga Bay and cool down your body in anticipation of the fireworks festival.

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は牧之原市の公式発表で確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場・周辺道路が混み合うため、余韻を楽しんでから時間差での退場がおすすめです。

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the Sagara Historical Museum. If walking barefoot, watch out for shells and small stones. The sea breeze can be strong on some days, so having a cardigan is reassuring.
