About this spot

This hot spring district spreads through the center of Minami-Izu Town, with a peaceful townscape running along the Inosawa River (稲生沢川). Free footbaths are set up throughout the town, letting you easily rest your feet between stretches of your stroll. It's an area where you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a hot spring town, a real change of pace from the grand nature of Cape Irozaki. Direct-sale stands offering local vegetables and fruit are also dotted around.

Tips

About a 15-minute drive from Cape Irozaki (石廊崎). Towels are often not provided at the footbaths, so it's convenient to bring a small towel. The sun is strong in summer, so choose a shaded spot to rest.
