2026年8月11日(火)開催、薩摩富士とも呼ばれる開聞岳のふもとで行われる花火大会です。約1,100発の花火が山の稜線を背景に打ち上がり、海辺の花火大会とは違う、静かで力強い迫力を感じられます。山に囲まれた立地のため花火の音が反響し、体の芯まで響くような臨場感も魅力です。フィナーレの連発を見届けたら、家族で夏の思い出を胸に帰路につきましょう。

Tips

荒天時は中止や延期の可能性があるため、当日は指宿市の公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後は駐車場や周辺道路が混み合うため、少し時間を置いてからの移動がおすすめです。山麓の夜道は暗いので足元にご注意を。

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from JR Nishiyamayama Station. Parking lots become congested from evening onward, so arriving early is recommended. It's reassuring to purchase drinks and snacks before arriving at the venue.
