About this spot

This green space in Hamazono-cho, Yokkaichi City, is managed by the Port of Yokkaichi Authority. A straight promenade extends through an expansive grove of acorn trees, letting you walk while surrounded by trees and gazing at Yokkaichi Port (四日市港). It's also equipped with a gazebo and tennis courts, and with plenty of shade throughout the grounds, it's a relatively comfortable place to be even during the hot hours of summer. It's a good green space for taking a break a little away from the bustle of the whale-boat event.

Tips

Parking is limited, so consider accessing it by public transportation too. There are benches and a gazebo, making it convenient for a quick stop to rest as well.

Best time to visit

About 50 minutes. With plenty of shade, it's a comfortable place to be even during the hot hours of the day.
