About this spot

This small shopping street, rooted in the local community, spreads out in front of Kintetsu Tomida Station (近鉄富田駅). Restaurants and daily-goods shops line the street, giving off a simple atmosphere that has long supported the lives of local residents. On the day of the festival it gets especially lively with local people, and it's also valued as a place to fuel up before heading to Toride Shrine (鳥出神社). It's not flashy, but take your time over dinner here while savoring the calm shopping-street air characteristic of the Tomida district.

Tips

Good access, located right by Kintetsu Tomida Station (近鉄富田駅). It can get crowded on the day of the festival, so visiting earlier is recommended.

Best time to visit

About 40 minutes. Around 4:00 PM, before the festival's main event, is a good time for dinner.
