This is the former residence of the Mikami family, wealthy Miyazu merchants who engaged in sake brewing and shipping trade since the Edo period. Designated as a Kyoto Prefecture cultural property, the residence features high-quality materials and gardens that reveal the former prosperity of this merchant house. Tips

会場周辺の駐車場には限りがあるため、徒歩や公共交通機関でのアクセスがおすすめです。夜間の屋外イベントのため、虫よけ対策があると安心です。

Within walking distance from both Amanohashidate and Miyazu stations. Admission requires a fee. The interior features many tatami-mat rooms, so wearing easily removable shoes makes for smooth transitions.
