This is the grand festival held at Nezaki Shrine, which sits along the Kumaishi coast. In 2026 it runs for three days, August 13 to 15, with community-wide festival rites unfolding across the area spanning the Sekinai, Nezaki, and Ayukawa districts. Though it's a small fishing village shrine, the way the community comes together with taiko drums and a portable shrine has a warmth different from the large-scale festivals of the city. It makes for a quiet, memorable summer night spent feeling the sea breeze off the Sea of Japan.

Tips
Since the area around the venue is close to a residential neighborhood, please follow local guidance when parking. From 17:00 onward. It has the best atmosphere once the sun sets and the lanterns light up.
