全国から奉納された人形やひな人形が境内を埋め尽くすことで知られる、加太の海辺に鎮座する神社です。2026年の夏越し祭は7月31日の日没から始まり、夏の穢れを祓う神事として地元で大切にされてきました。海に面した境内は日没とともに空の色が刻々と変わり、灯りがともる頃には昼間とはまったく違う静かで厳かな雰囲気に包まれます。人形にまつわる由緒ある神社ならではの独特な境内の雰囲気も、家族で歩いてみる価値のある見どころです。1日の締めくくりにふさわしい、海と祈りの時間を過ごせます。
Tips
日没時刻は季節や天候で前後するため、余裕を持って早めに向かいましょう。境内は砂利道の箇所もあるため、歩きやすい靴がおすすめです。夜は海風で体感温度が下がることがあるので、薄手の羽織ものがあると安心です。

Be careful when approaching the rocks as the surface can be slippery. During high tide, accessible areas may be narrower. Little shade is available, so drink water frequently.

About 45 minutes. Late afternoon light illuminates the rocks beautifully.
