About this spot

This is a set-meal (teishoku) restaurant located in Burakuricho Shopping Street in central Wakayama City. It offers a wide variety of set meals ranging from Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes to seafood, and on weekday lunches also features daily set meals made with seasonal ingredients. The rice is Tsuyahime from Yamagata Prefecture, the miso is Shinshu miso, and takeout bento boxes are also available. This is a good time to finish an early dinner before the main Kishu Odori event begins at 17:30. As dusk falls over the shopping street, you can already see the flow of people heading toward the festival.

Tips

Since crowding is expected after 17:00 on the day of the festival, it's reassuring to finish your meal by around 17:15 at the latest. Be sure to also use the restroom during this time.

Best time to visit

About 45 minutes. Around 16:00 is a relatively easy time to secure a seat
