別府温泉発祥の地のひとつとされる浜脇温泉一帯で、2026年8月29日(土)・30日(日)に行われる夏祭りです。会場周辺には出店が並び、提灯に照らされた温泉街を浴衣姿の人々が行き交う、別府らしい湯の街の夏の風物詩です。坂の多い浜脇の路地は昼間とは違う表情を見せ、湯けむりと祭り囃子が入り混じる独特の雰囲気に包まれます。初日である29日は宵宮としての賑わいが中心で、家族連れでも歩きやすい規模感が魅力です。

会場周辺は道が狭く坂もあるため、歩きやすい靴で。夜は海風で涼しくなるので、薄手の羽織ものがあると安心です。屋台の混雑を避けたい場合は開始直後の時間帯がおすすめです。
