Bon odori circle under lanterns and tower - community summer night
About this spot
A beloved summer bon odori gathering long cherished by residents of northern Ikoma City. Held in the parking lot of Kita Community Center ISTA Habataki, lanterns illuminate the venue around 5 PM, and a bon odori circle forms around the central tower. Organized by local children's associations and neighborhood councils, this community-rooted festival has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy for newcomers to join the circle. As the night deepens, the circle grows larger, with dancing continuing until around 8:30 PM.
