The central hub of Ayukawa, once a thriving whaling base, where several restaurants serve fresh seafood. It's the perfect place for an early dinner before the festival, surrounded by the lively atmosphere of a port town. Fishing boats line the harbor, and you can dine while enjoying harbor scenery unique to a seaside town. The location is close to the festival venue, Yusho-sen Waterfront Square, making it easy to walk there afterward.

Tips

The area around the port may be crowded on festival day, so an early dinner is recommended. There can be a temperature difference between day and night by the sea; bring a light jacket or sweater.

Approximately 35 minutes. Early evening allows for a more relaxed dining experience.
