2026年8月8日、長井市で開催される「ながい水まつり くるんと」は、最上川と町なかの水路とともに歩んできたこの町ならではの夏まつりです。「水と緑と花のまち」を掲げる長井らしく、涼やかな水辺の雰囲気の中で家族連れが楽しめる催しが繰り広げられ、夕方から夜にかけてまち全体がにぎわいます。花笠まつりのような大規模な踊りのパレードとはまた違う、地域に根ざした親しみやすい雰囲気が魅力の夏の一夜です。

会場周辺は夕方以降混み合うことがあるため、公共交通機関の利用や早めの到着が安心です。夜は水辺で気温が下がりやすいので、薄手の羽織ものを用意しておきましょう。
