「水の都・大垣」を象徴するまつりとして、大垣駅通りや本町通り、水門川一帯を会場に開かれる夏の一大行事です。会場には多くの屋台が並び、夕方から夜にかけて多くの家族連れでにぎわいます。水路沿いに提灯が灯る大垣ならではの夜景と、まつりのにぎわいが重なる特別な雰囲気を味わえます。
Tips
会場周辺は夕方から夜にかけて大変混雑するため、駅通りや水門川沿いの人の流れに沿ってゆっくり移動しましょう。屋台での買い物には小銭を多めに用意しておくと便利です。

As the festival draws near, crowds increase along the street, so it's wise to finish dining by 4 PM. If getting takeout, make sure to secure plenty of drinks as well.
