During the festival period, lanterns light the street, and the festive atmosphere builds from late afternoon. Having dinner during this time means you can enter the festival grounds before the crowds become overwhelming at 5 PM.
Tips
As the festival draws near, crowds increase along the street, so it's wise to finish dining by 4 PM. If getting takeout, make sure to secure plenty of drinks as well.
Best time to visit
