A small shopping street area spreads out in front of JR Yassugi Station, with local restaurants and shops handling fresh seafood scattered throughout. During the festival period, a flow of people increases from the station toward Yassugi Harbor area, and as evening approaches, the festive atmosphere permeates the entire town. Since the venue is within walking distance or a short bus ride from here, having your meal and heading out from here runs smoothly.

やすぎ月の輪まつりは、安来市の中心・安来町地内から安来港周辺にかけて開かれる、地域を挙げての夏祭りです。2026年は8月14日から17日までの4日間開催され、港の周辺には露店や催しが並び、夜には祭りの名の由来ともなる月の輪をイメージした灯りが飾られます。安来節やどじょうすくい踊りの披露が行われることもあり、昼間に予習した安来の伝統芸能を、夜の祭り会場でも改めて楽しめるのが魅力です。港町ならではの穏やかな夜風の中、地域の人々と一体になって夏の夜を過ごせます。

会場周辺は夜になると交通規制がかかることがあるため、公共交通機関の利用がおすすめです。荒天時の開催可否は主催者の発表を確認してください。
