三成愛宕祭は、中国山地の山あいに位置する奥出雲町三成地区で、火防の神様として親しまれる愛宕様にちなんで開かれる地域の祭りです。2026年は8月24日から25日までの2日間開催され、地元の人々が中心となって神輿や踊りなどの催しが行われます。たたら製鉄で栄えた歴史ある町らしく、落ち着いた山里の空気の中で、地域に根づいた祭りの温かさを感じられます。

Tips

会場周辺の駐車スペースは限られるため、早めの到着がおすすめです。山あいの夜は涼しくなることがあるので羽織ものがあると安心。荒天時の開催可否は主催者の発表を確認してください。

Tips

About 15 minutes by car from Itohara Memorial Museum. Wear comfortable walking shoes as the trails include rocky sections. Access may be restricted during high-water periods.
