とうろう流しは、宍道湖と中海を結ぶ大橋川の流れを舞台に、松江大橋周辺・白潟公園で行われるお盆の伝統行事です。2026年は8月16日に開催され、先祖の霊を送るために灯りをともした灯籠が次々と川面に浮かべられ、暗くなった川をゆらゆらと流れていきます。国宝・松江城や水の都・松江の風景と重なり合う幻想的な光景は、夏の終わりを静かに感じさせてくれる、家族で心に残るひとときになります。
