Spectacular Observation Deck Overlooking Hiroshima Bay and Saka Town Coastline
About this spot
An observation deck at the top of Kougon-yama mountain (approximately 221m high), offering a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea from southern Hiroshima to Saka Town and Kure. On clear days, you can see the silhouettes of islands floating in the Seto Inland Sea, such as Etajima and Nijima. You can drive to the summit, making it easy for families to enjoy the spectacular scenery. The sparkling sea under the summer sun offers a preview of the ocean breeze awaiting you in Kure and Saka Town.

瀬戸内海に面した坂町で毎年夏に開かれる地域の夏祭りです。会場となるパルティ・フジ坂店の駐車場には、地元で人気の「さかサンデーマーケット」の出店が並び、地域の食や手作り品を目当てに多くの家族連れが訪れます。太鼓や音楽のステージが催されることも多く、海辺の町らしいアットホームな雰囲気の中で夏の夜のひとときを過ごせます。地元の人と観光客が入り混じって楽しめる、坂町ならではのアットホームな祭りです。

会場は駐車場のため、混雑時は周辺道路が渋滞することがあります。公共交通機関の利用や早めの到着がおすすめです。出店の営業時間は天候により変更されることがあるため、当日の案内を確認しましょう。
