Held annually in summer around JR Anjo Station, the Anjo Tanabata Festival is one of the largest Tanabata festivals in the Tokai region. The 2026 festival runs August 7 (Friday) through 9 (Sunday), and you'll visit opening day. Countless Tanabata decorations hang above the shopping streets, with food stalls and game booths lining both sides. After experiencing Anjo's pride in flowers, greenery, and agricultural history during the day, enjoy walking and eating as a family beneath the colorful decorations at night, savoring this lively station-front summer festival.
