三河一色諏訪神社で200年以上の歴史を持つ三河一色大提灯まつりは、2026年は8月22日(土)・23日(日)の開催で、その初日を訪れます。高さ10メートルを超える大提灯が境内に立ち並び、龍や武者絵などが描かれた巨大な提灯に日が暮れると灯がともる光景は、全国でも珍しい迫力満点の夏祭りです。三河湾に近い港町ならではの厚い信仰心と、地域が総出で作り上げる祭りの熱気を、家族で間近に感じられる貴重な機会です。
