錦鯉と闘牛の町として知られる小千谷市で毎年夏に開かれるおぢやまつりは、2026年は8月21日(金)から23日(日)までの開催で、その初日を訪れます。小千谷市街地から千秋が丘、信濃川河川敷にかけての広いエリアが会場となり、夜には信濃川の河川敷から花火が打ち上がります。千秋が丘周辺は多くの人でにぎわい、地域一体となって夏を締めくくる祭りの熱気に包まれます。日中に触れた錦鯉や闘牛、震災復興の歴史の余韻を残しながら、夜は花火と祭りのにぎわいを家族で満喫しましょう。
Tips
会場周辺は花火観覧の時間帯に多くの人が集まるため、よい場所で見たい場合は早めの場所取りがおすすめです。周辺は交通規制がかかることがあるため、公共交通機関や徒歩でのアクセスが安心です。河川敷は夕方以降に虫が増えることがあるため、虫よけがあると快適です。
Tips
The shopping street will be crowded after evening on festival day, so early arrival is recommended. Many shops primarily accept cash, so prepare small change. If moving to the Shinano River riverbank for fireworks viewing, allow ample time for travel.
Best time to visit
Approximately 40 minutes. Dining before 5 PM ensures smooth travel to the festival venue.
