This museum preserves the charm of the "Yamaage Festival," which is designated as an Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property and is inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. The museum features easy-to-understand displays and videos explaining how enormous stage sets (called "yama") standing over 10 meters tall are constructed and used in kabuki-style performances. There are interactive exhibits where you can experience the spectacle firsthand, deepening your understanding of this traditional art deeply rooted in the community.

松原寺周辺は道幅が狭い箇所があるため、駐車場の案内に従ってゆっくり運転しましょう。開催時間は年により変動することがあるため、当日は地域の掲示や案内を確認するのが確実です。夜は虫が多くなるため、虫よけ対策をお忘れなく。

About 10 minutes by car from Ryūmon Falls. The museum is air-conditioned, making it ideal for a break during hot afternoons. Check for any scheduled performances when you arrive.
