古宇利島の玄関口に位置する道の駅のような複合施設「古宇利の駅ソラハシ」で開かれる、夏恒例の盆踊りです。2026年は8月15日に開催予定。地元の農産物や海の幸を扱う売店を併設した施設の広場に提灯が灯り、太鼓の音を合図に地元の人々や観光客が一緒になって輪をつくります。橋を渡ってすぐの離島という開放的なロケーションで、海風を感じながら過ごす夏祭りの夜は格別です。
Tips
施設の駐車場は台数に限りがあるため、早めの到着が安心です。海沿いのため夜は風が強くなることもあるので、羽織ものがあると快適に過ごせます。屋台の有無は年により異なるため、念のため軽食を持参しておくと安心です。
Tips
Just minutes by car from Tiinu Beach. Wait times may occur for the cart to the observation deck, so plan ahead. The shell museum is air-conditioned, making it an ideal spot to cool off.
Best time to visit
Allow about 1 hour. The lighting becomes softer and the sea views become more beautiful as evening approaches.
