甲良町の日吉神社の境内で、地域の人々によって代々受け継がれてきた夏の盆踊り行事です。2026年は8月21日に開催予定。太鼓の音を合図に、地元の子どもから大人までが輪になって踊る様子は、都市部の大きな祭りとはひと味違う、里山の集落ならではの温かい一体感にあふれています。世代を超えて受け継がれてきた踊りの型を、実際に輪に加わって体験できるのもこの祭りの魅力です。

神社周辺は道幅が狭い箇所があるため、駐車場の案内に従ってゆっくり運転しましょう。開催時間は年により変動することがあるため、当日は地域の掲示や案内で確認するのが確実です。夜は虫が多くなるため、虫よけ対策をお忘れなく。

About 10 minutes by car from Shōrakuji Temple. Some sections have limited shade, so bringing a hat or sun umbrella is recommended during hot times. Be careful of your footing when approaching the water channel.

Approximately 50 minutes. The afternoon is best when the river breeze feels most pleasant.
