Flow of the course

About this spot

This memorial hall in Shimazaki, Nishi Ward, Kumamoto City, was built in 1936 by Adachi Kenzo. Enshrined here are Kikuchi Taketoki, Kato Kiyomasa, and Hosokawa Shigekata, known together as the 'Three Sages of Higo,' honoring three great figures who shaped Kumamoto's history. It's a calm, unassuming building that can be visited in a short time. Since it's some distance from the hot spring district of Tensui-machi, it works well as a short driving detour within the course.
