About this spot

A lighthouse tower observatory near the summit of Enoshima Island, with an observation deck about 60 meters above ground offering expansive Sagami Bay views and Mount Fuji views on clear days. The surrounding garden features seasonal plants and provides a pleasant walking area where you can enjoy greenery even without climbing the tower. It's an interesting experience for children to enjoy the elevated views and then look back at the coast and shrine you've walked through from above.

Tips

About a 10-minute walk from Enoshima Shrine's Hetsutomiya to this highland location. An admission fee is required to access the observation deck. There's an elevator making it accessible with strollers, though wait times may occur during busy periods.

Best time to visit

About 45 minutes. Afternoon has clear air when Mount Fuji is visible from a distance
