A summer festival held over four days, from August 13 to 16, in Ono-shi, known for its famous water and castle-town charm. Lanterns line Rokken Street, the dance venue, and local residents and visitors form a circle around the yagura tower to dance bon-odori. Sensing the lights of Echizen Ono Castle, which you looked up at during the day, glowing in the distance, joining the circle of dancing that continues late into the night amid the calm atmosphere of a castle town is sure to become a summer memory unique to Ono.

Tips
