This tourist information center, marked by a large “i” sign, stands right in front of JR Obama Station. It provides information on sightseeing and events in Obama, offers a pamphlet corner and souvenirs, and also handles luggage storage and rental bicycles as a “bicycle station.” Foreign-language support is available as well. Check the town's situation here, and if you have dinner in the town center near Hachiman Shrine, you can then watch the decorated floats parade from 5:00 PM at a relaxed pace.
Tips
The town center can get crowded on festival evenings, so it's recommended to arrive early.
