A science museum located near Koriyama Station, popular for its planetarium and interactive science exhibits. In addition to displays themed around space and astronomy, there are plenty of hands-on corners where children can experience natural phenomena in their daily surroundings. 2026年の郡山うねめまつりは8月7日(金)・8日(土)の2日間、郡山駅前大通りを中心に開催されます。地元の伝説に由来する祭りとして毎年多くの踊り手が参加し、そろいの浴衣で通りを練り歩く「うねめ踊り流し」が最大の見どころです。駅前大通り周辺の「うねめde縁日」では屋台も並び、家族連れでにぎわいます。日中に公園や科学館で郡山の街を満喫した後の締めくくりに、地域あげての夏祭りの熱気を味わいましょう。

Tips

本番当日は駅前大通り周辺が交通規制になるため、公共交通機関の利用が便利です。人出が多いため、小さな子ども連れは沿道の後方や広めの場所での観覧が安心です。
