2026年の須崎まつりは8月1日(土)・2日(日)の2日間、須崎市富士ヶ浜を中心に開催されます。初日の見どころは力強いパドルさばきで競うドラゴンカヌー大会で、夕方の湾には掛け声と応援の声が響き渡ります。日が暮れると須崎湾を舞台にした海上花火大会が始まり、湾を囲む山々にこだまする花火の音と、夜空いっぱいに広がる大輪の光が須崎の夏を締めくくります。海に近い立地ならではの迫力ある花火は、須崎まつりの大きな魅力のひとつです。
Tips
会場周辺は当日大変混雑し、駐車場も早い時間から満車になるため、公共交通機関か早めの到着が安心です。海沿いは夜になると冷えることがあるので羽織ものを。荒天時は花火大会が延期・中止になる場合があるため、当日の主催者発表を確認しましょう。帰りの道は混雑するので、時間に余裕を持って移動しましょう。
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from the roadside station. The path to the shrine has narrow sections; drive carefully. In summer, shade is scarce, so bring a hat or umbrella. Respect the shrine's serene nature by visiting quietly and mindfully.
Best time to visit
Allow about 1 hour. Afternoon's soft light beautifully illuminates the torii and sea.
