2026年の鹿児島神宮六月灯は7月28日(火)に開催されます。大隅国一之宮として古くから信仰を集めてきた鹿児島神宮の境内が、日が暮れるとともに数百の灯籠で照らし出され、幻想的な雰囲気に包まれます。六月灯は鹿児島県内各地の神社仏閣で夏に行われる伝統行事で、鹿児島神宮の六月灯はその中でも特に格式が高く、多くの参拝者でにぎわいます。灯籠の明かりに照らされた朱色の社殿は、昼間とはまったく違う神秘的な表情を見せてくれます。
Tips
境内周辺は当日多くの参拝者で混み合うため、公共交通機関の利用が安心です。石畳や参道は暗い箇所もあるので、小さな子ども連れは足元に注意しましょう。荒天時の開催可否は事前に確認しておくと安心です。
Tips
The observation deck is free to use. In summer, the outdoor deck can become very hot, so viewing through windows indoors is also recommended. The parking area is shared with airport users, so it can get crowded during peak times.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour. Late morning and early afternoon tend to have more flight activity.
