Next stop: A Summer Festival Rooted in the Mountain Village, Shared by the Whole CommunityAbout this spot
Located within Ishitoge Lakeland in the Saigo district of Misato Town, this town-run day-trip hot spring facility is affectionately known locally as “Bijin no Yu” (Beauty's Bath). It features a large indoor bath and an open-air bath fed by an abundant hot spring source, where you can soak while gazing at the peaceful lakeside scenery. It's a perfect way to wash away the fatigue of walking through the valley and visiting the falls, and the cool mountain breeze feels refreshing after bathing. The facility also has a rest area, making it a great place to take a break before heading to the summer festival.
Tips
Traveling by car from Mukabaki Falls is convenient. You can bring your own towel or purchase one at the facility. Since the facility has set closing days, it's a good idea to check before visiting.
Best time to visit
About 45 minutes. Late afternoon is a relaxed time to visit.
