A full-scale, faithful recreation of Nara's Shosoin, this azekura-zukuri (log-built) structure stands in a mountain town. It was built in connection with the legend of the Baekje royal family long passed down in this area, and inside you can view treasures and materials related to local legends. Standing proudly amid deep greenery, this azekura-zukuri building offers the curious experience of feeling ancient charm while still in a mountain village. It's a fitting starting point for this course, where the family can encounter historical romance together.

Tips

There is a slight uphill slope from the parking lot, so comfortable shoes are recommended. An admission fee is required to view the interior. Summer sunlight is strong, so remember to stay hydrated between stops.

About 1 hour. Mornings through midday tend to be relatively uncrowded, allowing for a leisurely visit
