About this spot

One of the hot springs counted among the Hanamaki Minami Onsenkyo (Hanamaki South Hot Spring Gorge), this mountain hot spring area has inns dotted along a lush, green valley. There is a footbath available from early morning, letting you warm your feet in the clear mountain air and ease into the start of your trip. The surrounding area also has quiet walking paths, and a stroll during the cool early-morning hours offers a pleasant view.

Tips

You will travel to Hayachine Shrine by car. Since some facilities may not be open in the early morning, focus on stopping at outdoor spots you can enjoy, such as the footbath.

Best time to visit

About 40 minutes. The cool morning hours are the most comfortable time to visit
