Move your body at the plaza with play equipment until the fountain starts
About this spot
Kusa no Hiroba (草の広場) is a plaza in Neyagawa Park equipped with play structures. It is just the right place to spend the short stretch until the grand fountain starts at 11:00, moving your body on the play equipment. There is a spread of lawn too, so small children can run around freely. It is also close to the fountain area, making the move smooth.

寝屋川公園の中央広場にある大噴水は、直径20mという大きさが特徴の水遊びスポットです。2026年は7月4日(土)から7月12日(日)までの土日、7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まで毎日、9月は土日祝(最終9月27日(日))に、11時から15時まで15分に1回・1日6回稼働します。噴水には段差がなく、小さな子どもでも安心して水しぶきを浴びながら遊べるつくりになっています。周囲には100種類の宿根草が咲く法面花壇もあり、水遊びの合間に花を眺めながら休憩することもできます。
Tips
噴水は15分ごとに6回のみの稼働なので、稼働時間を事前に確認しておくと待ち時間を減らせます。日差しを遮るものが少ないため、こまめな休憩と水分補給を心がけましょう。着替えスペースも確認しておくと安心です。
Tips
Around the play equipment, sand and grass can make feet and clothes dirty, so having a change of clothes is reassuring. Move to the central plaza a little early to match the fountain's start time.
