About this spot

Within the grounds of Kodomo no Kuni there is a cycling course that runs through green, hilly terrain. A range of bicycles is available for rent, including tandems and child sizes, so even small children can enjoy it together with the family. Riding the course with its ups and downs works your body more than you might expect, making good exercise before the water play. The refreshing feeling of cutting through the breeze amid greenery is a charm only such wide grounds can offer.

こどもの国の「せせらぎ」は、浅い流れを利用した水遊び場です。2026年は3月中旬から10月中旬までオープンし、こどもの国の開園中は入園料のみで利用できます。営業時間は午前9時30分から午後4時30分まで(7・8月は午後5時まで)です。水深が浅く流れも穏やかなため、小さな子どもでも安心して水に親しめます。周囲は木々に囲まれ木陰も多いため、休憩を挟みながら長時間過ごしやすいのも魅力です。

Tips

最終入場は営業終了の少し前までとなるため、午後の遅い時間に訪れる場合は残り時間を確認しておきましょう。着替えやタオルは多めに用意しておくと、水浸しになって遊んだ後も快適に過ごせます。

The number of rental bicycles is limited, so on busy holidays it is reassuring to head to the rental counter early. When the sun is strong, do not forget a hat and plenty to drink.
