Formally called Heiken-ji, this is a celebrated Shingon-sect temple beloved as the Daishi who wards off misfortune. Known as one of Japan's most-visited temples at New Year, it has many highlights such as the vermilion main hall and the imposing main gate, and the spacious precincts are built so that strollers can move around easily. Visiting before heading off for water play also lets you put your wishes into words, hoping the family's day will be safe and enjoyable.

川崎区の入江崎総合スラッジセンター内にある、清掃工場の余熱を活用した屋内温水プールです。2026年は4月1日から通年で利用でき、営業時間は10時から20時まで(7・8月は9時から)。屋内なので天候に左右されず、雨の日でも計画通りに水遊びを楽しめるのが大きな魅力です。水温が管理された温水プールなので、肌寒い時期でも比較的快適に過ごせます。午後からゆったり入場し、夕方まで泳いだり水に浮いたりしながらのんびり過ごしましょう。

Tips

利用料金や貸し出し品の有無、混雑状況は公式サイトで事前に確認しておくと安心です。夏休み期間は利用者が増えるため、午後早めの時間の入場がおすすめです。水泳帽の着用が必要な場合があるので持参しておくと安心です。

Tips

It is just a short walk from Nakamise-dori and easy to reach. The precincts are flat and easy to walk with plenty of shade, making it suitable for a summer visit too. It can get somewhat busy during the goma fire ritual hours.
