Sea bathing until evening at a venerable swimming beach
About this spot
A swimming beach spreading along the shore of Oiso Town including Terigasaki, also known as the place where Japan's first swimming beach opened. In 2026 it is open from Sunday, July 12 to Sunday, August 30, with swimming hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sands with a calm, composed atmosphere spread out, and families can enjoy water play at an unhurried pace. Beach huts line the sand, offering meals, rest and showers. From splashing at the water's edge to building sandcastles, enjoy summer to the full until evening.
