About this spot
A nature-rich park spreading among the mountains of Yugawara Town, with the appeal of a broad lawn set against Mount Makuyama. The mountain's exposed rock face is striking, and strolls and picnics can be enjoyed through the seasons. It is a park of just the right size for moving about in the morning before heading to the sea.

湯河原町の吉浜海岸に広がる海水浴場です。2026年は7月11日(土)から8月31日(月)まで開設され、遊泳時間は8時から17時までとなっています。相模湾に面した落ち着いた雰囲気の砂浜で、家族連れがのんびりと水遊びを楽しめます。背後には箱根の山並みが望め、温泉町ならではの穏やかな景色も魅力のひとつです。砂浜には海の家が立ち並び、食事や休憩、シャワーも利用できます。
Tips
JR湯河原駅からバスまたは徒歩でアクセスできます。遊泳は無料で、海の家の休憩やシャワーは有料です。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダル必携。遊泳時間は17時までなので、着替えの時間も見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。
Tips
It can be reached by bus or car from Manyo Park. The grounds are uneven, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Stopping by around 11:00 a.m. before sea bathing keeps the day flowing smoothly.

About 50 minutes. The morning, before the sun grows strong, is the most comfortable
