Sweeping views of Sagami Bay from a site connected with Toyotomi Hideyoshi
About this spot
The ruins of a castle said to have been built in a single night by Toyotomi Hideyoshi during the siege of Odawara, now maintained as a historical park where the stone walls remain. It stands high up, and the appeal is a view from the observation area reaching across Sagami Bay and central Odawara to the Izu Peninsula in the distance. You can enjoy the cool breeze on the heights while sensing history, making it just right for a stroll before sea bathing. The grounds are green as well, suited to an unhurried family walk.
