Around JR Nagiso Station, eateries offering local flavors such as Shinshu soba and gohei-mochi rice skewers are dotted about. In the composed atmosphere that defines the Kisoji, you can finish a proper lunch before river play. The station area is also close to Tsumago-juku, an easy place to stop between strolls. 南木曽町読書の木曽川沿いに広がる河川公園で、年間を通じて開放されています。公園のそばには大正時代に建設された木製の吊り橋・桃介橋が架かり、国の重要文化財にも指定された貴重な土木遺産です。歴史的な橋を間近に眺めながら、木曽川の河原で浅瀬の水遊びを楽しめるのが大きな魅力。木曽路ならではの澄んだ水と山の緑に包まれ、家族でゆったりとした時間を過ごせます。
Tips
水は上流からの流れのため真夏でも冷たく感じられるので、羽織るものがあると安心です。河原は石が多く滑りやすいのでウォーターシューズがあると安全です。日差しのある時間帯を選んで遊ぶと快適です。
Tips
You can travel from Tsumago-juku by car or on foot. Some places also serve local mountain-vegetable dishes. Take care not to overeat ahead of the afternoon in the water.
