A museum in Kokubu-cho, Suzuka City, exhibiting materials unearthed from archaeological sites around the city. The highlight is the collection related to the adjoining nationally designated historic site, the Ise Kokubunji Temple Ruins (伊勢国分寺跡): the large roof tiles and earthenware make it clear that a great Nara-period temple once stood here. The exhibition rooms are compact, so even families with small children can go all the way around while attention holds.
