The Seseragi stream at Kyoto Prefectural Rakusai Purification Center Park (Aqua Parco Rakusai) is an artificial stream about 1m wide and only a few centimeters deep, flowing beside the lawn plaza. There are no deep sections, so even children who have just started walking can go in holding a guardian's hand. A row of cherry trees lines the stream, and the shade it provides in summer is one of this park's strengths. It is typically open year-round (open daily except around the New Year holidays) from 9:00 to 21:00; only the tennis courts and ball game field require a fee, while use of the Seseragi stream is free. Combination play equipment, restrooms, and parking are also available, so you can spend a long time switching between the water and the play equipment once you've had enough of one.

The water-flow period for the Seseragi stream is not publicly announced, so checking the park's on-site information for that day's status before you leave home can help you avoid a wasted trip. There is no information about changing rooms, so wearing swimwear underneath or bringing a towel poncho will make changing smoother. Entering from 14:00 lets you play for a long time into the evening as the sunlight softens, and it's still bright enough to enjoy around 17:00.
