The Keihanna Commemorative Park Lawn Plaza Stream is a shallow watercourse running along a lawn plaza stepped like terraced rice fields. Because the water is built to descend from step to step, you can play while walking from upstream to downstream, a pleasure you will not find at other water-play spots. There are no deep places, so even a child who has only just started walking can go in with a parent. Use of the lawn plaza is free; in a typical year water play is possible in summer, and the 2026 period when water will run has not been announced. Playground equipment for children is nearby too, so families are never at a loss for somewhere to go once out of the water.

Whether water runs varies from year to year, so checking the park's information before you set out will save a wasted trip. Walking on the grass with wet feet picks up cuttings, so keep a towel close by to wipe off as soon as you come out.
