Anaoji Temple (穴太寺)

About this spot

An ancient temple in Sogabe-cho, Kameoka City, known as the twenty-first temple of the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage. It stands amid fields, and once you pass through the gate a tahoto pagoda and the main hall line up in silence, with a calm atmosphere quite unlike a temple in the middle of a city. The main hall is home to the legend of the substitute Kannon, and worshippers never stop coming. The garden seen from the study hall is a composed design that draws the mountains of Tamba in as borrowed scenery. Kameoka Sports Park is only a few minutes away by car, so it sits perfectly as the first stop of the morning.

亀岡運動公園芝生広場の噴水は、レジャープール横の芝生広場にある、地面から水が噴き出すタイプの水遊び場です。池や柵がないので、噴き出す水の間を自由に走り回れ、体を思いきり動かしたい子どもにはうってつけの遊び場になっています。夏場は一定間隔で噴水が上がる運転なので、水が上がるタイミングを待つ時間も子どもには楽しみになります。公園と芝生広場の利用は無料で、レジャープール「かめプー」のみ別料金です。同じ広場に木製アスレチック遊具やターザンロープ、砂場、長いすべり台があるため、水から上がったあとの居場所にも困りません。

2026年の開設期間は未発表で、例年は夏休み期間が遊びどきです。運転状況は日によって変わるので、出発前に亀岡市の案内で確認しておくと空振りを防げます。更衣室の案内は出ていないため、水着は下に着ていくかタオルポンチョを用意すると着替えがスムーズです。芝生広場は日を遮るものが限られるので、レジャーシートと帽子で日差し対策をしてください。
