Kazanin Bodaiji Temple (花山院菩提寺) is an ancient temple standing on the heights of Amadera in Sanda City, known as a special extra temple of the Saigoku Thirty-three Kannon Pilgrimage (西国三十三所). Its finest sight is the view from the grounds, which takes in Sanda's rural hills and fields, and even the shapely silhouette of Mount Arimafuji in the distance, all at once. The road up to the temple gate climbs a slope, so visiting in the cool of the early morning is recommended. Praying for a safe day in the quiet grounds before heading off for water play is a way of starting the day that belongs to this area alone. Arimafuji Park is only about 10 minutes away by car, making it just the right distance for a morning stop.

兵庫県立有馬富士公園せせらぎ(ロックガーデン)は、パークセンター近くのロックガーデンのガーデン階段に水を流してつくられる、夏だけのごく浅いせせらぎです。2026年は7月18日(土)から8月27日(木)まで、10:00から16:00まで水が流されます。石を組んだ階段を伝って落ちる水にふれる遊び方なので、泳ぐのではなく、足をひたす・水をすくう・流れを追いかけるといった過ごし方になります。深さがほとんどないため、水に慣れていない小さな子や歩き始めたばかりの子でも安心して入れるのが大きな魅力です。料金は無料で、天候不良のときは中止になり、大雨などで開始日が変わる場合もあります。

Tips

シャワーと更衣室はないので、水着は服の下に着ていき、帰りはタオルで拭いて着替えるつもりで準備してください。石の上は水にぬれると滑るため、水遊び用サンダルかウォーターシューズを履かせ、走らないことを先に約束しておきましょう。ぬれた服を入れるビニール袋を人数分用意しておくと帰りが快適です。16:00に終わるので、遅くとも15時までには水に入っておくとしっかり遊べます。

Tips

The approach is a sloping road, so wear comfortable walking shoes. There are no shops on the grounds, so prepare drinks before you set out. Agreeing in advance with your children that this is a place to visit quietly helps everyone look around calmly. There is a slope from the parking lot to the grounds as well, so a baby carrier is easier than a stroller in places for small children.
