The Museum of Nature and Human Activities, Hyogo is a large natural-history museum in Yayoigaoka, Sanda City, known locally by its affectionate nickname Hitohaku. Dinosaur and fossil specimens and exhibits on the links between Hyogo's nature and human life spread across floor after floor, so children make one discovery after another simply by walking around. Talks by the researchers and hands-on programs are sometimes held too, making it a perfect place to look for ideas for a summer holiday research project.
